Year-round role with seasonal hour fluctuations (40–50 hours/week spring & summer, 30-40 hours/week fall & winter) Key Responsibilities
Execute and manage daily production across: -Ice cream,Baked goods, & Limited catering and restaurant prep -Lead and manage production staff during shifts -Ensure product quality, consistency, and food safety standards -Maintain organized production workflows across multiple product types -Monitor labor efficiency and adjust staffing as needed -Communicate inventory needs and production status to ownership -Identify and reduce production errors, waste, and inefficiencies
Qualifications
-3+ years in food production, kitchen management, or food/bev manufacturing, Chef/Pastry Chef -Experience with baking and basic cake decorating -Strong organizational and time management skills -Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment -Comfortable switching between product types (frozen, baked, light savory) -ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) Preferred (Not Required)
-Experience in ice cream or frozen dessert production -Experience in commissary kitchens or multi-product operations

Food Production Assistant (Flexible Hours) Shifts:
Flexible/Typical Mon - Fri 8am - 4pm
Compensation $15-18/hour based on experience
This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced kitchen or production environment.
